Jesse Scott

Jesse Scott is a Senior Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation in New Delhi, India, and also works at the DIW Berlin German Economics Research Institute. Previously she has worked as International Director at thinktank Agora Energiewende in Berlin, Head of Environment the European electricity business association Eurelectric and at gas association Eurogas in Brussels, as an expert at the OECD International Energy Agency in Paris, and as founding head of the Brussels office of E3G. She has worked in policy making on climate change and the energy transition from fossil fuels to renewables for 20 years, both in Europe and globally. Her experience includes working with international and national government, with business, and in NGO campaigns. Early in her career Jesse worked assisting leaders of the Constitutional Convention that prepared the EU Lisbon Treaty, and as a lawyer. She also guest teaches at New York University Law School, the School of Transnational Governance at the European University Institute, Johns Hopkins SAIS in Bologna, and at the Central European University.
