Sven Siefken

is professor of political science at the Federal University of Applied Administrative Sciences and Visiting Professor at Colorado College, USA, and was Associated Lecturer at Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. Siefken is Vice Chair of the Research Committee of Legislative Specialists of the International Political Science Association and editor of the German Journal for Parliamentary Affairs. His current work investigates coalition politics, parliamentary committees, parliaments in the pandemic and the future of democratic representation. Previous research as dealt with parliamentary oversight, representation in France and Germany and with expert advisory commissions.
